The End of Over Score Check feature helps collaborative scorers quickly identify and fix scoring discrepancies at the end of each over.
This feature compares the entries made by each scorer for batter, bowler, number and type of runs scored on each ball, and any fielders involved in a catch or run out.
If any mismatches are identified, scorers can quickly jump into Edit mode to correct them. Once updated, the score check reloads to verify that the new data matches.
This guide explains how to enable and use score checks with one, two, or three connected users.
Enable score checks
When the score check appears
If the scores match
If the scores don't match
If there’s a scoring discrepancy:
- An exclamation mark and the message Scores Differ appears in red in the bottom left corner.
- The score check panel highlights the differences between scorers.
- Users with correct scoring data (no red warnings in the left section) should click Close, but users with incorrect data should click Go to Edit Mode to make corrections.
- Once a user exits Edit mode, the score check panel will recalculate and reopen. If all errors have been corrected, Scores Identical will display in the bottom left corner. Click Close and continue scoring when the next over commences.
Notes on score check behaviour
- In a full collaborative setup with a Live Scorer, Support Scorer, and Video Analyst, the score check compares all three sets of data
- If only two roles are in use (e.g., Live Scorer and Support Scorer), the comparison only includes those users
