After a match has finished, you can create a match highlights package (an MP4 format video file) that contains only the key moments that occurred during the game such as fours, sixes, wickets and catches.
You can create a standard highlights package that includes all key events in a match, or a package that includes only the match highlights of a single player or a single team.
Creating a Standard Highlights Package
To create a normal highlights package that includes all key events from a match:
- Click Video > Video Packages > Generate Highlights Package. The Generate Highlights Package dialogue opens.
- Specify the video source, overlays and graphics content, clip duration, and ball clip events you want to include in the highlights package. These include options like fours, sixes, wickets, milestones (e.g., 50s, 100s), and key moments.
- Click Create. The Video Package Manager dialogue opens, displaying all selected clips in a video timeline. The package might take several seconds to generate, depending on the number of clips it contains.
- Use the Video Package Manager to edit and preview your highlights package.
- Click the Play button below the video window to preview a selected clip.
- Adjust the order of clips by dragging thumbnails in the video timeline left or right.
- Add more clips to the package by right-clicking clips in the Ball by Ball panel or the Video Ball by Ball thumbnails.
- Replace or mute the highlights package audio by selecting a custom audio track from the Custom Audio Track dropdown or by ticking the Remove Source Audio box.
- Choose an animation to be shown once at the end of the highlights package video from the Default Exit Animation dropdown and set the duration of the animation using the Speed field.
- Edit individual clips you select in the timeline by setting a start time and clip length using the Start Time, and Clip Length fields.
- Adjust the speed of individual clips using the Clip Speed slider. Adjust playback speed by between 0.1x (slow speed at 10% of original) up to 2x (high speed at 200% of original). Click the Reset link to return to 1x.
- Choose an animation to be shown at the end of a selected ball clip from the Clip Exit Animation dropdown.
- Remove the source audio from a selected clip by ticking the Remove Source Audio box.
- Show or hide the watermark image in the top-left of a selected clip using the Show Watermarks box.
- Show or hide the stream overlay over a selected clip using the Add Overlay box. If the video clip already includes an overlay, untick this box to prevent duplication of the overlay.
- When have finished editing your highlights package, click Create Package > Save Video. The Save As dialogue opens. You can choose from 480p, 720p and 1080p video resolutions. Note that as you increase the resolution of the highlights video the file will increase in size.
- Type a name into the File name field and select a location on your computer to save the highlights package video file (MP4).
- Click Save. Your highlights package might take some time to generate, depending on the number of clips it contains.
Creating a Player-specific Highlights Package
To generate a highlights package for an individual player, for example a batter who has just scored a half-century:
- Click Statistics > Match Stats Wizard > All Innings, or right-click a player on the Scorecard panel (View > Scorecard Data >Scorecard) and select Stats Wizard. The Wagon Wheel dialogue opens.
- Tick the Batters checkbox and then select the required player.
- Tick the Runs checkbox and then filter for 4s and 6s.
- Click the Play Video dropdown and select Add to New Package. The Video Package Manager dialogue opens.
- Use the Video Package Manager to edit and preview your highlights package.
- Click the Play button below the video window to preview a selected clip.
- Adjust the order of clips by dragging thumbnails in the video timeline left or right.
- Add more clips to the package by right-clicking clips in the Ball by Ball panel or the Video Ball by Ball thumbnails.

Creating a Team-specific Highlights Package
To generate a highlights package for a specific team that played in a match:
- Go to Video > Video Packages > Create blank Package. The Video Package Manager dialogue opens, containing no ball clips.
- Open the Scoring menu and select Innings 1. The Ball by Ball panel updates to show all balls and events in the innings. If the Ball by Ball panel isn't visible, open it using View > Scorecard Data > Ball by Ball.
- Open the column filter on the Ball by Ball panel (by clicking the Settings cog icon) and tick the Events and Highlights columns.
- Right-click each row in the list with a four, six, or an event (such as a wicket or milestone) associated with a member of the team you are creating a highlights package for and select the Add to Package menu option.
- When you have finished adding clips for the first innings, return to step 2 and select the next innings. Repeat this process for all innings, adding the events recorded for the team as they alternate between batting and bowling.
- When you have finished adding all significant batting and bowling events for the team, use the Video Package Manager to edit and preview your highlights package.
- Click the Play button below the video window to preview a selected clip.
- Adjust the order of clips by dragging thumbnails in the video timeline left or right.
- Add more clips to the package by right-clicking clips in the Ball by Ball panel or the Video Ball by Ball thumbnails.
