If you want to stream a match from the NV Play Cricket for Windows software over YouTube, you will need to locate your unique YouTube stream key and add it to the software's live streaming settings.
A YouTube stream key is a code used to connect streaming video software (like NV Play Cricket) to YouTube. This code acts as a combined password and user ID, telling YouTube which account to associate with external video streams that use the key, and the YouTube channel to play them through. It also indicates that you have authorized a connection between the video encoding software and your YouTube account. For this reason it is very important that you keep your stream key safe, and that you do not share it with others.
To find your YouTube stream key:
- Open a browser and navigate to YouTube Studio (https://studio.youtube.com).
- Sign into your YouTube account if you aren't logged in automatically.
- Click the Create button in the top-right corner of the Youtube Studio home screen and select Go live. The Live Streaming screen opens, showing the Stream settings tab.
- Click the Copy button button next to the Stream key (paste in encoder) field. The key is hidden in your browser for privacy and security reasons. You can now configure the stream key in the NV Play Cricket software (go to Tools > Configuration > Live Streaming and paste the key into the Stream Key field).
- Close your browser (or the YouTube Studio browser tab).
