This guide describes the hardware you will receive with your CLUB PRO Live Streaming Hardware Kit, how to connect the included camcorder to mains power and to your laptop and the included video encoder, and the software settings needed in the NV Play Cricket for Windows software to see a live camera stream.

What's in the kit
Your CLUB PRO Live Streaming Hardware Kit includes:
- Camcorder with charger/power supply, battery and cables
- Tripod with carrying bag
- 10 metre male-to-female power cable (used to permanently power the camera)
- 10 metre HDMI to Mini HDMI cable (used to connect the camera's video output to the included Cam Link 4K encoder)
- Cam Link 4K HDMI-to-USB encoder (used to convert the HDMI video output from the camcorder into USB data that can be processed by nearly any computer)
- Backpack
Unpacking and setting up
Before setting up, choose a suitable location for the camera. This must be within 10 metres of the scorer location (this is the length of the HDMI cable connecting to camcorder to the encoder and computer). The camera should be located as close to the pitch as possible, and somewhere that it won't be blocked by players or spectators.
To set up your camcorder, tripod and laptop:
- Remove the tripod from its carrying bag, extend its legs, lock them in place and then adjust its height to allow the camera when attached to clearly see the pitch.
- Unlock and adjust the tripod head (by unscrewing the adjustment handle) so it is level and then re-tighten to secure the head in place.
- Unclip the tripod top-plate and screw the top-plate to the base of the camcorder. Reattach the tripod top-plate, with the camcorder attached, to the tripod.
- Unlock and rotate the tripod head. Point the camcorder toward the pitch.
- Remove the 10 metre power cable from the kit, unravel it, and connect the plug end into to an RCD-protected power source (in the pavilion, for example). Hang the socket end of the cable under the tripod and camera (this is because the power cable for the camcorder's power supply is not long enough to reach the ground).
- Remove the camcorder power supply/charger and USB cable from the camera box. Connect one end of the USB cable to the charger, and the other to the USB power socket on the right side of the camcorder. Plug the charger into the power socket you left hanging under the tripod.
- Remove the 10 metre HDMI cable, unravel it, and connect the smaller Mini HDMI end into the camcorder's HDMI output. Place the other (larger) end next to your laptop. Do not allow the plug sockets to get wet.
- Remove the Cam Link encoder device from its box and plug the larger socket end of the 10 metre HDMI cable into it, then plug the encoder's USB plug into a USB socket on your laptop.
- Turn the camcorder on by pressing the power button once, open the lens cover, and flip open the camera's LCD screen. Your kit setup is now complete.
