To resolve SQL-related issues, follow these steps:

  1. Restart the local SQL database

1. Restart the local SQL database

If you experience a crash with an SQL-related error message, follow these steps:

  1. Restart your computer.
  2. Open the Windows Command Prompt by typing cmd into the Windows search field and then pressing Enter.

  3. Paste the following commands individually within the window that opens, pressing Enter after each:
    • sqllocaldb stop MSSQLLocalDB
    • sqllocaldb start MSSQLLocalDB
  4. Reopen NV Play Cricket and check if the issue is resolved.

2. Recreate the local SQL database

If the issue persists:

  1. Open the Windows Command Prompt by typing cmd into the Windows search field and then pressing Enter.
  2. Run the following commands one at a time in the window that opens, pressing Enter after each:
    • sqlLocalDB delete MSSQLLocalDB
    • sqlLocalDB create MSSQLLocalDB
    • sqllocaldb start MSSQLLocalDB
  3. Reopen NV Play Cricket and check if the issue is resolved.

3. Delete the local SQL database

If the issue is still unresolved, delete the local SQL database:

  1. Close the NV Play Cricket application.
  2. Open Windows Explorer (Windows/Start+ E) and navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\NV Play\Cricket\Database.
  3. Delete the Database folder and its contents.
  4. Reopen NV Play Cricket and sign in.
  5. If prompted, accept the sync with the server.
