Recording Ground Conditions and Ball Details

During play, the pitch, ground, weather, and ball type can all significantly impact player performance and match outcomes, so it's worth recording this information.

To enter ground conditions (weather and pitch), ball details (type and colour), pitch number, and boundary lengths for a match:

  1. Go to Scoring > Ground Conditions/Ball Details. The Ground Conditions/Ball Details dialogue opens.

  2. Select the required Ball Type and Ball Colour from the dropdown lists.
  3. Use the up or down arrows (or type) to enter the Pitch Number and the four Boundary (Metres) lengths.
  4. Double-click in the Weather and Pitch boxes for each day of the match. Select the appropriate option from the dropdowns.
  5. Click OK to save and close the dialogue box.
