Recording Ground Conditions and Ball Details

At NV Play, we understand that every match is different, because the pitch, ground, weather, and ball type all have an impact on player performance and the outcome, so it is worth recording this information.

To enter the ground conditions (weather and pitch), ball details (type and colour), pitch number, and boundary lengths for any match, go to Scoring -> Ground Conditions/Ball Details to open this dialog:

Click the Ball Type and Ball Colour dropdown arrows and select the required option from the lists. Then use the up or down arrows to select (or type) the appropriate numbers for Pitch Number and the four Boundaries (Metres) lengths. Double-click on the Weather and Pitch box for each day of the match and select the required option from the dropdown lists. Once all information is entered click OK to save and exit this dialog.
