Creating a Local Match

This guide explains how to begin a new match without connecting to a competition management system, using only information contained in your local database.

Starting Without Logging In

To start a match using only your local database, click the Continue without Login button on the Login prompt when you open the NV Play Cricket for WIndows software. This will result in the software working offline, and using only your local database.

Creating a New Match

To start a new local match:

1. Go to the File > New Match. The New Match dialogue opens.
2. Set up a new match by selecting the clubs, teams, and players stored in your local database, as described in the earlier match setup guides (see the links at the top of this page).
