Bowler Prompts at End of Over
The process of changing a bowler at the end of an over is determined by your Bowler Confirmation settings (Tools > Configuration > Scoring > Bowler Confirmation Prompt).
To configure this setting:
- Go to Tools > Configuration. The Configuration dialogue opens.
- Click the Scoring tab.
- Click an appropriate radio option from the Bowler Confirmation Prompt section:
- None: The Confirm Bowler prompt does not open at the end of each over. If a new bowler is needed, manually select them from the Bowler dropdown on the Play Control panel.
- Every Over: The Confirm Bowler prompt opens automatically at the end of every over (when you click Yes on the End Over dialogue). Choose a new bowler from the dropdown list, or leave the current bowler selected if they will continue bowling, and click OK to confirm.
- First Two Overs (From Each End) of Each Innings/Session: The Confirm Bowler prompt opens automatically at the end of the first two overs of each innings or session. Choose a new bowler from the dropdown list, or leave the current bowler selected if they will continue bowling, and click OK to confirm.
Overs Per Bowler Limits
If your match type has a limit on overs per bowler, the software will prompt you to change the bowler once that limit is reached by opening the Bowler Allocation Reached dialogue.
Mid-Over Bowler Changes
If a bowler is substituted mid-over (e.g. due to injury or suspension) the Auto Correct dialogue will open.
- Click Yes to change the bowler for both previous and remaining deliveries in the over.
- Click No to keep the original bowler for completed balls and use the new bowler for the rest of the over.
